You are right, you could use the word list generator for any unicode based document. You could even parse the entire suttapitaka and get a list with all vocabulary you will ever encounter - its quite handy if you want to build a dictionary or :-) a word list...

Thanks for the link to Andy's site - looks very interesting.!

Your projects look interesting, Lennart. Am I correct in guessing that
the Pali wordlist generator could be used to create a similar list for
any Unicode-encoded document?

I liked Dennis's idea of using the Buddhist Webmaster's Forum as a
focal point for some of the technical-related discussions we've been
having. With that in mind, I created a database on the forum website,
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buddhistwebmasters/, listing some of the
projects that have been mentioned or posted to the list. If anyone is
inclined to add or update entries to the DB as new projects are
created, move, etc., it might help people looking for particular tools
or looking to contribute to a project find a good match. I know that
Andy Shaw's page (http://www.tipitaka.net/pali/andy/pali.htm) has a
number of pieces of software, but I am not sure if they are still
being developed.
