Dear Nina, Charles and friends,
thanks. I have altered "evil state" to be "evil states" following the
answer guide. I read the sentence as:
As long as we understand the truths, so long we will not be born in
evil states.
Yaava maya.m saccaani bujjheyyaama taava maya.m duggatiisu na
uppajjeyyaama.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
metta,
Yong Peng.

I agree with Nina that the English needs to be amended in 11: it
seems doubtful anyone would imply that after understanding any truths
we would be rewarded by birth in an evil state.
Also, while I had "duggatiisu" for a long time, the English has "evil
state" (sing.), so I believe "duggatiyaa" or "duggatiya.m" would be
more accurate.
