Thus have I heard: at one time the Blessed One was
living at Savatthi in Jeta’s Grove at Anathapindika’s
park. Then in the morning the Blessed One dressed,
took his bowl and robe, and went in to Savatthi for
alms. Then at that time, a fire was blazing forth and
a sacrifice being offered at the home of the Brahmin,
Aggikabharadvaja. Then the Blessed One, making his
alms round in Savatthi one house at a time, approached
the home of the Brahmin, Aggikabharadvaja.
