Thanks for all the enouragement, here and off-list, in my attempt to
work through some suttas in Kaccaayana and make them accessible to
beginners at Pali. I'd just like to say that I'm open for suggestions
about how to make it best serve your needs and interests.
Among other things, perhaps we won't want to work straight through
all 675 rules in order. This could get us bogged down in tedious and
repetitive technical sections, where we'd no longer see the forest
for the trees. It might be better to look at the 'greatest hits' in
each of the eight major divisions (kappa), to get an overview of the
fundamental concepts involved in the various aspects of grammar. From
there, those wishing to go into it deeper will probably be
well-equipped enough to do so themselves.
