Cowell and Rouse's translation of pada c (Vol.6, p.294) is "Nor
subject to a woman's will". So I would take 'thiina.m' to be the
genitive plural form of 'thii' (woman = itthii) and 'vasa.m' to have
the meaning of will, power, influence, or even spell.
