Have you not seen in the world, a woman or a man,
eighty, ninety, or a hundred years from birth,
decrepit, crooked like a gable, bent over, tottering
on a stick, going along trembling, sick, aged, with
broken teeth, gray and scanty hair, bald, wrinkled,
and with blotchy limbs?

Being a wise and mature person, has it not occurred
to you: I too am of the nature to grow old, I am not
free from old age. Well then, let me do good by body,
speech, and mind?
