Bhante,

I have just completed two interesting studies connected with Dh 97:

(1) SD 10.6 (2005) "Dhammapada 97: Two levels of religious language." (Includes
summaries and paraphrases of KR Norman's famous but hard to find paper published in
the Indological Taurinensia.
(2) SD 10.7 (2005) "Pubba,ko.t.thaka Sutta: The position of faith in Buddhism"
(Saariputta has no "faith" in the Buddha!).

If you like I can send the PDF versions (and also the MS Word versions) to you
directly as I don't think the website can take large files.

Anyone else who would like these 2 essays, please let me know your personal email
address.
