I agree.
In Pali compositions from the mediaeval period onwards writers
tended to avoid ambiguity of this sort by using a uniquely
dative inflection such as -aaya or -attha.m, rather than -assa.
Word order is then not so important.
Tva.m ratha.m vejjaaya aaharasi.
or:
Tva.m vejjaaya ratha.m aaharasi.
or even:
Vejjaaya ratha.m tvam'aaharasi.
