Dear Stephen,

The only complete English translation of the Pali Vinayapi.taka that I
know of is the one by I.B. Horner and published by the Pali Text
Society which I doubt is available in an etext format. There is an
earlier partial translation (in three parts) of the Patimokkha,
Mahavagga and Cullavagga by T.W. Rhys Davids and Hermann Oldenberg
in the Sacred Books of the East Series. Part I which covers the
Patimokkha and the first four khandhas of the Mahavagga is available
online at:

http://www.sacred-texts.com/bud/sbe13/index.htm

I think a full English translation of the Vinayapi.taka will
eventually be made available online but that could be years away. It
looks as though metta.lk is planning to put up an English
translation -- so that's one website to keep an eye on.

Best wishes,
Jim Anderson
