Dear Nina, Patrick and friends,

yes, Patrick would have receive the welcome message from the group,
through the Yahoo! system automatically when he first signed up. The
message is the one which we worked out together quite recently.

Btw, Nina, remember that the welcome message is actually
quite 'compact' because there is a word limit on it. Recently, I have
seen other Yahoo! groups using a text file to be sent to new members.
And as an attachment, the file can be of any length. So, there is no
need to squeeze everything into a short message (especially when
spaces and CR's are also counted as characters.) I find it a better
method, and like to adopt it. What do you think?

metta,
Yong Peng

welcome to this group. I appreciate your interest, and I am sure Yong
Peng gave you all the book titles. As you see we have daily exercises
here, and any exercise is good enough to begin with, since the system
is three linear, though not for all of them. After a while you get
used to it. I use romanized written Pali, hard cover, from the Pali
Tetx Society, but you can also find texts on the web. I cannot read
the Pali script, I do not know about it. Others can help you here.
