translation of the LAS, it is unversally recognized among scholars that this
translation, important pioneering work though it was, is now quite
inadequate, distorted and misleading -- indeed, rather than a revision, a
completely new translation of the LAV is extremely desirable. If possible,
would it not perhaps be a good idea to liaise with relevent scholars
concerning the desirability of perpetuating such seriously out-of-date works
as these.
