Hello Ven. Bhikkhu Pesala, and thank-you ever so much for the excellent quote
however a reference in the form of a Suttas name, volume and number would be
greatly appreciated. I fail to see how this quote bolsters a belief that the
historic Buddha taught different contemplative strategies. It seems to rather
indicate the some people favor one manifestation of absorption (sama-samadhi)
verse the other.
