Dear friends,

this week, the word is atha (ind.) and now, and then, and also.

I have problem piecing the sentence together. Please help.

DN25 Udumbarika Sutta CSCD55/PTS3.40
Aya.m kho no, bhante, antaraakathaa vippakataa; atha bhagavaa
anuppatto.
this / indeed / not / venerable Sir / interrupted conversation /
unfinished / and now (?) / the Blessed One / accomplished
Indeed, venerable Sir, not this unfinished interrupted conversation;
and now the accomplished Blessed One (please).

aya.m (dem. pron.) this.
kho (ind., enclitic) indeed.
no (ind., emphatic, negative participle) not.
bhante (voc.) venerable Sir.
antaraa (adv.) in between.
kathaa (f.) speech, talk.
antaraakathaa (f.) interrupted conversation.
vippakata (adj.) left unfinished.
bhagavaa (nom. of bhagavant, m.) the Blessed One.
anuppatta (p.p. of anupaapu.naati) reached, attained.

I look forward to your suggestions and comments.

metta,
Yong Peng
