I, for one, wouldn't want to parse (or analyse) every word of Pali I
submit here on this list, mostly from a lack of time not from a lack
of interest. I'm not sure if the palistudy group would be right for
you given your views about the interpretations of Buddhaghosa and
other commentators on the meaning of words and phrases in the
Buddhavacana. Detailed word analysis and the study of etymologies are
very much on topic in the palistudy group but the methods are based on
those of the ancient commentaries and grammatical treatises. What do
you think?
