Dear Nina and friends,

thanks for the question. I hope the steps I listed below will help
guide you through to make the modifications:

1. Go to this site: http://groups.yahoo.com/

2. Click on "Sign In" link.

3. On the Sing In page, enter your Yahoo! ID and Password in the
boxes, and click on the "Sign In" button.

4. Once you have signed in (with the right ID and password), you will
be brought to Yahoo! Groups main page.

5. Click on the "My Groups" link on the top-right portion of the page.

6. You will then be brought to the My Groups page, and should see a
list of all free Yahoo! mailing lists you signed up for.

7. If the Pali group is not shown, scroll down the page, and towards
the bottom, you will find a "Don't see all your groups?" link.

8. Click on the link and it will bring you to the Find My Memberships
page.

9. Now, click on the "add a different email address" link.

10. On the Add Email Address page, enter the email address you use
for the Pali group, e.g. nina@... (However, no one else should
have use this email address with another Yahoo! account)

11. Click the "Continue" button, and you will be prompted for your
password again (for security).

12. You will then receive an email with a verification code through
the account, nina@...

13. Follow the instructions given in the verification email. (You may
need to sign in at Yahoo! Groups again)

14. After that, you can return to the My Groups page using the
navigation links, or typing this url on the Address bar:
http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

15. Repeat step 7.

16. On the Find My Membership wizard-page, you should now see your
alternative email nina@... listed.

17. Click on the "Continue" button, and the software wizard will link
all your groups to this account.

18. You should now see Pali group listed, click on the group's link.

19. On the group's page, click on the "Edit My Membership" link.

20. On the page, under the Message Delivery section, choose the "No
email" option and click on the "Save Changes" button.

That is all done! (I hope it helps.) After that, you have the choice
of reading the messages and replying by visiting the site:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pali/

Or, you may enter your Yahoo! email address to have the messages sent
to your Yahoo! account for archive:
http://www.tipitaka.net/ (sign-up box at bottom of the page)

I am glad that you find the layout on Tipitaka.net tidy and
accessible. I am also now back in Singapore for the Chinese New Year
holidays, but the Day-by-Day series will not be interrupted.

Have a happy vacation.

metta,
Yong Peng

I went to the homepage tipitaka net, and I found it very neatly and
clearly arranged. I have a problem, perhaps others may also have. I
could not get to the right page for: edit my membership. I want to
practise, because I leave for a journey Jan. 27, changing Email
option.
