The P.T.S. has:
It is an empty lie, mere idle talk, when men say there is profit therein.
> Tesa.m tuccha.m musaa vilaapo ye keci atthikavaada.m vadanti.
YP:
> tuccha (adj.) empty, vain, deserted.
> musaa (ind.) falsehood, lie.
> vilaapa (m.) wailing, idle talk.
> ye (rel. pron. n/m plural) who/what.

N: ye keci is here: whoever, or: all those who.
atthika also means; profit, benefit.
litterally: they say profit--speech.
As to keci: what Rett says is correct, but there is another meaning: some
people. In the Co. we find this: another group of teachers has another
opinion, some (keci) say... Often used to render different opinions.
