Here's the entry for atthikavaada, from page 79 of Vol I of Margaret
Cone's magnificent and wonderful _A Dictionary of Paali_. Hope I'm
not violating copyright. (Rap me across the fingers with ruler if I
am, and I'll be more careful in the future).

///
atthikavaada, m. and mfn., 1.(m) the doctrine that (merit, another
world, etc) exists; D I 55,29 (tesa.m tuccha.m musaa vilaapo ye keci
atthikavaada.m vadanti) = M I 515,17 (Ps III 227,24: atthi
dinnaadiina.m phalan ti ima.m atthikavaada.m yeva vadanti);
///

Interestingly, her article cites the same passage you are studying.

If you were wondering about how the word is formed it's atthika + vaada

atthika> atthi ("it exists", cpr skrt asti, Latin est, German ist,
Eng is) + -ika (having to do with) cpr skrt "aastika". The pali would
be aatthika except that pali doesn't like to have a long vowel before
a double consonant.

Vaada, of course, means doctrine here. So atthikavaada = "the 'it
exists' doctrine"

There is also a natthikavaada, the doctrine that it doesn't exist
(whatever 'it' might be).

Hope this helps,
