N: *To* denotes a movement, it would be being in. One is in a forest.
But I read in other translations: Here, a bhikkhu, gone to the forest...
sits down. It sounds better. Gone: he is there because of his inclinations
and sits down to be mindful of breathing.
Going to a forest: then it would be gacchanto. And the aorist is not used,
but gata as an affix. It seems like an attribute of that monk. Ara~n~nagata:
that is his inclination, the right condition for him. A forest-gone person,
a forest dweller.
