udakama.nika.m pati.t.thaapente, app�ekacce aasanaani
pa~n~napente, Ke.niya.m pana ja.tila.m saama.m yeva
ma.n.dalamaa.la.m pa.tiyaadenta.m.
Then indeed Sela the Brahmin followed by three hundred
young men �approached the monastery of Keniya the
ascetic. And Sela the Brahmin saw some individuals
from the monastery of Keniya the ascetic digging
fire-ovens, some splitting firewood, some washing
dishes, some setting out water pots, some arranging
seats, and then Keniya the ascetic himself preparing
the pavilion.
