In 1972 the first Tibetan style Stupa (Chorten) was constructed in Vung Tau
South Vietnam. After the fall of Saigon, the Vihara there was destroyed, and
the Stupa vandalized. Thern it suffered years of neglect.
The Stupa was restored in 2002. Photos have been published, and are now
