My hounourable dhamma friends,
I've a very shallow knowledge in the Pali language. As a Buddhist
of the Theravada tradition, I'm indeed very surprised to read the
articles posted on the web-site proclaiming the "authentic"
translation of the Pali Canon regarding Atta and Annata. The web
site is www.sammasambuddha.com. The author of the articles seem to
be very well versed in the Pali language and the Buddhist scriptures
because all the statements made by him are verified and quoted from
the Nikayas.

I would be much obliged if Pali experts such as Piya Tan, Nina Van
Gorkom and others could kindly enlightened me on the authenticity and
accuracy of the translations or interpretations of the Pali Canon in
the aforesaid web site. The articles posted really challenge the
foundations of Theravada Buddhism.

Thanking you in anticipation.
With metta,
Steven
