Wt> Nyanaponika translated 'vipassanaanayalesa' as ' The Method od
Wt> Insight in brief'. By naya method is meant. But PED says lesa meas
Wt> 'sham', 'pretext', or 'trick'. I don't get it. Doesn't Nyanaponika
Wt> translated lesa as 'in breif'?
In Monier-Williams Sanskrit dictionary 'le"sa-' is interpreted as 'very slightly
or briefly'.
Wt> Nyanaponika translated 'pellana-aakaarena' as 'in it's aspect of
Wt> pushing', But I can't find the word 'pellana' in any of my
Wt> dictionaries including PED and my Japanese-Pali dictionary.
It may be a derivative of 'pii.leti' (to press, press down).
