I am reading Mahasi Sayadaw's Visuddhi~naan.akathaa. I have rpoblem with two words 'lesa' and 'pellana'.
Nyanaponika translated 'vipassanaanayalesa' as ' The Method od Insight in brief'. By naya method is meant. But PED says lesa meas 'sham', 'pretext', or 'trick'. I don't get it. Doesn't Nyanaponika translated lesa as 'in breif'?
Nyanaponika translated 'pellana-aakaarena' as 'in it's aspect of pushing', But I can't find the word 'pellana' in any of my dictionaries including PED and my Japanese-Pali dictionary.
