thanks very much for the pointers on translation. I can't agree less
about presenting Buddha's message in a contemporary language. But, it
is really a good understanding of the meaning of the original Pali
that would ensure an undistorted translation. Many of the words need
clarification, since it is the first time we come across in our study
as a group.
