Dear Jim and friends,

thanks. How about keeping the original tapaccaya = tad+paccaya :
this/that account, and tapaccayaa = by/from this/that account?

I try not to change what was previously done, but the results of our
discussion will go to the word list on the same page.

metta,
Yong Peng

I'm inclined to think that the resolution of the
compound 'tappaccayaa' is tassa paccayaa which can be translated as:
because of this, on account of this, by reason of this. Notice that
E.M. Hare translates it as 'on account of this' at GS iv 85. But I
don't think 'from/by that account' (tamhaa paccayaa) is necessarily
wrong. It would be a matter for you to decide what fits best in the
sentence.
