Dear Ven. Samahita,

Maybe you remember me as a participant of Pali mailing list.

I have read your texts and materials at the
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Buddha-Direct
and am favorably impressed by your enthusiasm and persistence.

Maybe, as a translator from Pali, you will understand my situation and
help me in a matter of Dhamma dissemination.

I translate and distribite materials via the website http://dhamma.ru
My Russian-speaking Dhamma friends, having read suttas, also ask for a
comprehensive and authoritative encyclopedia of practice.
Therefore I have started translating Vimuttimagga as a work written as
early as in the first century AD by an Arahant Upatissa.

Yet to make an accurate and truthful translation, English rendition is
not enough, and I need a Pali reconstructed text:

Vimuttimagga, ed. G. Siri Ratnajoti and K. Siri Ratnapala
(Colombo: Government Press of Ceylon, 1963).

I understand that you are also busy with practice and dissemination of
Dhamma, yet I hope that you will be able to find this book in the
library and make a photocopy of it in the spirit of friendly support.
I can reimburse the expenses of copying and postage.

As for me, I would be glad to be of service to you and assist you in
any way I can.

With Metta,
Dimitry
