I compared the Pali in the PTS edn. and notice one difference:
uppannuppannaa instead of uppannaa. If you like, I can email you
offlist a complete listing of the 189 occurrences of 'pariyaadaaya'
in the Suttantapi.taka with PTS vol. and page references. With this
list you could check out other translations in different nikaayas by
various translators. I think Horner's use of 'from' in the sense of
'cause' may be in keeping with the use of the genitive. I saw in
another one of her MN sutta translation (M I 239-240) the use of the
genitive like a locative ie. (arisen) 'in him' for 'tassa'.
