Thanissaro Bhikkhu's translation of the Vinaya gives the standard
size as 12 spans by 7 spans. It's not clear how big a span is here,
but it might give a kuti of perhaps 9' x 5'3". Pretty cosy! But in
any case the rule only applies to monks getting huts built on their
own inititative, not when someone else arranges for the construction.

I did stay in a kuti at Wat Pah Nanachat, but I don't remember
exactly how big it was. It might have been around 9' x 7' or 10' x 8'
or something like that.
