Hi,

have a look here: http://jbe.gold.ac.uk/palicanon.html for the complete Set
plus add-ons as Word documents in the Sri Lankan Version. They have seperate
Versions for the Mac as well as links to Search-Tools for the Mac. If you
prefer a Sutta-Index for easy browsing look here:
http://www.metta.lk/tipitaka/index.html
If you don't mind doing your searches online you can use this
http://budsir.mahidol.ac.th/ site which contains the Thai-Version of the
Tipitaka and has a nice and comfortable search function. If found this to be
the most error free online version. However this is also the one that is not
public domain and the CD costs about 300$ (Windows only anyways). (Online
Edition is free however.)
There is also the Burmese edition online at http://www.tipitaka.org/ But
this cannot be searched and furthermore the files often seem to be garbeled
somehow.

Hope this helps a bit,
Lars
