Dear Ong Yong Peng,
The Visuddhimagga is avaible on the CSCD in 2 parts along with
commentary to it(Paramattha-manjusa). I believe it is a very careful
and thorough study of the Pali cannon. It has been translated by
Namamoli and also the Pali text society - both good translations.
