It is still operational and free. It is a free service from
suddenlaunch, so there is some advertisement. And I notice that the
webmaster has changed the ads from the annoying pop-ups to pop-under.
Still, if you are paying for internet usage by download quota, it is
advisabe to have a pop-stopper software to prevent the unnecessary
stuff. I do not know why your computer crashes, it may be due to the
advertisements. If you have a pop-stopper software, it may be the
cause. :-)

Anyway, the forum is considered inactive, but do make use of it if
you find it useful.
