Friends,

I have a trivia question that I don't know the answer
to, but I figured somebody on this list would. I am
giving a short talk tomorrow night to my local sangha,
giving an overview of the Pali Canon and sutta study.
Does anyone know approximately what is the total size
of the 3 parts of the Tipitaka - either in approximate
number of pages, or words, or even more usefully
perhaps to this audience, in comparison to the
Christian bible, e.g., three times the size, or ten
times the size or whatever it might be.
