Dear friends,
as I work through Exercise 3, I notice one particular principle/rule
applied by Dr. de Silva to sentences containing words of the
instrumental case. That is, she uses the word 'saha' or 'saddhi.m'
only when the word expresses the meaning of accompaniment, as we
have seen in the above two sentences. For the rest of the
sentences, 'saha' or 'saddhi.m' is missing (as in No. 3 and 5). Is
this a convention used in the Pali texts? Kindly enlighten me.
