N: We have to take the whole: subhaasita-dubbhaasita-anamatthama~n~naatu.m

I start at the back: ma~n~naatu.m: to think,
attha: meaning. This is together with ma~n~naatum and therefore no
declination.
we come to dubbhaasitaanam: in the ill spoken sayings, ending: aanam (pl.
locative)
Subhaasita: no ending since it is together with (sandhi) dubbaasitaanam.
Abeautiful long compund, Warder, ch 22, with du and su, in the case of
nouns, kammadhaaryas. But these are within another compound, bahubbiihis?
I hope somebody will correct me where I am wrong, I like to learn.
It is good you put many question marks, otherwise we have no work to do.
Thank you for the trouble looking up all those words. I think that short
sutta sentences may be easier to look up, but it did not bother me that I
could not look up phrases, a good exercise, anyway. I have no preference, I
can learn from beginners Pali and more advanced.
