That's also what I understood to be the commonly-accepted standard.

John Bullitt lists the abbreviations he uses for Access to Insight
(including DN, etc.) at http://www.accesstoinsight.org/abbrev.html

He also refers to a page by the UK Association for Buddhist Studies
at http://www.sunderland.ac.uk/~os0dwe/bs12.html#Canon that notes the
existence of both DN and D, etc., and gives a more comprehensive list
of abbreviations.
