This is off-topic for the Pali list but I couldn't resist jumping in,
since psychotherapy and meditation is my pet subject! I don't know
the writer you refer to, but I've read what I can about meditation
and psychotherapy, and I'm surprised by how tentative a lot of it is.
To me meditation has clear and obvious therapeutic value. Once life
is more settled for me (I'm looking for a job right now) I'd like to
teach some classes to demonstrate this.
