Dear Jou,
I sent a reply to this but it must have got lost. I think we all interpret the
teachings to some degree. Sometimes I read a text and interpret it in
one way but a few years later find out that was not right. So I find helpful
pointers on meaning useful. I was very interested in Venerable
Silananda's comments which make a lot of sense, I think.
