Dear Dhammafriends
A verse in Vijayaasuttam of Bhikkhunisam.yutta:
Na catthi te dutiyaa van.n.adhaatu,
Baale na tvam. bhaayasi dhuttakaanan
This verse is translated by Bodhi Bhikkhu as follows:
There is none whose beauty rivals Yours truly,
Foolish girl, aren’t you afraid of rogues?
I don’t understand the sentence ‘Na catthi te dutiyaa van.n.adhaatu’. Could anybody analyze it for me? Thank you.
With metta
Tzungkuen
