If this is the same Aggacitta as he who used to translate for Sayadaw U
Pandita then I don't think we ever met in person, though I often heard
his name mentioned by bhikkhus and lay yogis arriving in Bangkok from
Thathana Yeiktha. I suppose he must have been at Wat Tha-ma-o before my
time. U Dhammananda never mentioned his name, though this isn't surprising
as the sayadaw rarely mentioned anyone's name. He had a rather stern
conception of frivolous speech, almost all talk about other people being
considered frivolous!
