Good to see the translation getting along very well. A couple of suggestions:

(1) Although the locational sequence in the sutta opening is largest location
(saavathiya.m), then the park (jetavane), and then the monastery (anaathapi.n.dikassa
aaraame), I think it sounds easier on the English-speaking ear (and mind) to have the
locational sequence as:
"in Anathapindika's monastery in Prince Jeta's Park near Savatthi" [the "Prince" is
optional], which I thinks is in living English.

(2) Sugata as "Welcome" or "The Welcome One" sounds good.

(3) "Apperception" for sa~n~naa is too technical since it is a specialized
psychological term. I think Rhys Davids or an earlier translator had used this term
unsuccessfully. I'll stick to "perception". It is difficult to have an exact word for
such technical Pali terms. Anyway, although the Pali texts are meant to be read
alone, there is always the need for a communication with a living practitioner
(preferably a renunciate) to bring spiritual life into these dead words.
