I used the amplified method for special Pali terms like Sugata:

Sugata [the Well-gone]...
Arhant [the Worthy]

I prefer Sanskrit or anglicised equivalents if they are available, if my audience is English speaking
but new to Buddhism.

For sattha.m savya~njana.m, I'm experimenting with "in the spirit and in the letter" which I know will
attract some criticism since it sound biblical, but then again who is out intended audience.

Hope we can hear some wise words from the wise and experts.
