A great scholarly work on how grammatical cases are used in pali along with
all possible sub-divisions (acc of time, space, duration etc etc)
was edited and published by
HINUEBER, Oskar von: Studien zur Kasussyntax des Pali, besonders des Vinaya
Pitaka. München: Kitzinger, 1968
unfortunately, as you see, only in German...
