Thanks Robert for leting us know about the BUDSIR site. One thing I
found very usefull on the site is the "downloadable demo" of the cd
rom. It has the feature of audio for any words that you highlight.
One question about Pali pronuciation, is "V" pronounced as we would
pronounce a "W" in english. On the BUDSIR demo "vimutti" is
pronounced "wee-mutti", "vihara" is pronounced "weehara",va is
pronounced "waa",vuccati pronounced wuccati,
ie.
vi pronounced we
va pronounced wa
vu pronounced wu
ve pronounced way
