It seems I was mistaken. I have found convincing elucidation of
'eka.m samaya.m' at Silakkhandhavagga-Atthakatha (1:32).
'Idha panassa kaalo attho.'
kaalo - time.
And at 2:365 -
Saavatthi.m upanissaaya yo jetassa kumaarassa vane anaathapi.n.dikena
gahapatinaa aaraamo kaarito, tattha viharati.
upanissaaya - near, in the vicinity.
