In the late 1970s Ven. B. Ananda Maitreya published an very good series on
"Pali Grammar and Composition for Beginners" in the Pali Buddhist Review
(hope I got the title right) of the Pali Buddhist Union in London. I only
have some of the instalments.
I like this title because it uses quotes direct from the Canon as examples
for practice. In fact, I am planning a beginner's Pali course (very basic)
using quotes from the Canon itself with the aim, not so much of learning
grammar, but as a key to the Pali suttas. This is as a follow-up to the Key
to Pali Suttas.
Does anyone know where or how I can get the rest of the instalments?
