Hi!
Note: for anyone unfamiliar with my software - it's all free under the GNU
General Public License. If you have a copy of the software and a friend is
interested in trying it out, then you can just copy it to a diskette and
give it to them. There is no "special access code" that you need to use the
software. The software runs under Windows 95 and above.
INPUT EASY
For anyone using Input Easy - I have version 1.4 ready if you would like to
help test it.
This is a very big improvement over version 1.3.
a) you can "copy/cut/paste" facts between chapters
b) it requires at least 800x600 screen resolution - because the input areas
are larger. This means you can put more text into the software with your
facts.
Non-pali stuff
c) in case you are an English speaking person studying French or German - it
supports French and German transliteration for easy entry of the special
characters on an English language keyboard.
d) if you really want to get fancy - Input Easy "speaks" English, French and
German. It uses the speech engine from "Learnout & Hauspie" (used in many
commercial software programs) to do "text to speech".
e) if you choose to use them - it has some fun "professionally animated
characters" to make the learning more fun
The bottom line: if you are studying French or German you can enter the
words, phrases and sentences from your textbook into Input Easy and (if you
want) you will hear the word/phrase/sentence. If you are studying English
language facts, you can hear them read to you. The sound feature makes it
much easier to remember the facts.
The program is 384Kb unzipped and about 100Kb zipped. I can email it to you,
if you wish to try it out.

peace from
