Interesting that the commentator interprets saddhaaya as ablative
("due to faith") rather than instrumental ("with faith").

The difference is one of degree.

Going forth "due to faith" would mean that faith was the motivating
factor.

Going forth "with faith" would mean that there were other motivating
factors, with faith providing the support or encouragement to
actually take this step.

Perhaps by the time the commentator was writing, Buddhism was no
longer a "path" but had become a "religion."
