Hi, Pali friends,

Will somebody do a simple thing -

- Introduce a measure of lexical-syntaxical correlation between
suttas, i.e. a measure of similarity in words and grammatical forms.

- Unite suttas in clusters on the basis of largest measure of
correlation.

- Arrange clusters in approximate chronological order with the help of
the time markers that we have in some suttas.

- Determine other significant axes with the help of factor analysis.

And thus construct a chronosemantical space of the Pali Canon, which
would allow to see links between suttas, their approximate time of origin,
and the clusters of suttas to which they belong.

It would also allow to determine the probable age of any other Pali
text and the group of teachings to which it belongs.

Just a couple of seconds on a computer.

Dimitry
