Hi, All,

To cleanse our palates, and to continue the theme of enlightenment
after listening to a discourse, here's the last paragraph of
Dvayataanupassanaa Sutta.m, "Consideration of the Pairs Sutta," from
the Sutta Nipaata, at Sn III.12 (PTS p. 149):

Idamavoca bhagavaa. Attamanaa te bhikkhuu bhagavato bhaasita.m
abhinandunti. Imasmi.m kho pana veyyaakara.nasmi.m bhaññamaane,
sa.t.thimattaana.m bhikkhuuna.m anupaadaaya aasavehi cittaani
vimucci.msuuti

ida.m = this (nominative singular, demonstrative pronoun,
neuter)
avoca = spoke (aorist of vacati)
bhagavaa = the Blessed One (nominative singular, bhagavant)

atta-manaa = uplifted (aa + d + ta) mind (nominative plural, mana)
te = those (nominative plural, 3rd person pronoun,
masculine)
bhikkhuu = monks (nominative plural of bhikkhu)
bhagavato = the Blessed One's (genitive singular of bhagavant)
bhaasita.m = speech, word (accusative singular)
abhinandunti = they delighted in (3rd person plural)

imasmi.m = this (locative singular, demonstrative pronoun)
kho = indeed, surely, then, now
pana = and, now, further, moreover
veyyaakara.nasmi.m = answer, explanation, exposition (locative
singular)
bhaññamaane = being spoken (locative, passive present participle of
bha.nati)

sa.t.thimattaana.m = sixty (genitive plural of sa.t.thi + matta)
bhikkhuuna.m = of monks (genitive plural)
anupaadaaya = not clinging (gerund)
aasavehi = from the outflowings, taints or corruptions (ablative
plural)
cittaani = minds (nominative plural)
vimucci.msu = were released (3rd person plural, aorist from vi +
muñcati)

My literal-ish translation:

Thus spake the Buddha. The uplifted-minded monks delighted in the
Blessed One's talk. Then, moreover, while this discourse was being
spoken, the minds of sixty monks, having abandoned clinging, were
released from the aasava-s.

K. R. Norman translation:

Thus spoke the Blessed One. With elated minds those bhikkhus welcomed
the Blessed One's word(s). While this exposition was being uttered,
the minds of sixty bhikkhus were released from the aasavas without
clinging.
