To compare English Samyutta suttas @ Access to Insight, to the original Pali source on DPR . ( digitalpali/reader )

here is a handy Formula to convert the 2 field address of Thanissaro samyutta # [samyutta].[sutta]

to DPR's 4 field address of [book/vaggo].[samyutta].[sub-vaggo].[sutta]

step 1. calculate 1^st field of DPR address, “book”: lookup table below under thanissaro samyutta # column, compare to (book) column.

step 2. calculate 2^nd field of DPR address, look up table column “math to convert”, apply that formula to thanissaro samyutta #. Take the answer, then select that samyutta in DPR (1^st drop down menu right below vaggo label)

step 3. calculate 3^rd and 4^th field of DPR address by taking thanissaro sutta #, browsing through DPR's 2^nd and 3^rd drop down menu and just manually count out sequentially until you get to the sutta # desired.

Step 4. verification: pali sutta name that appears on the title of Thanissaro's english sutta should be the same as the pali sutta name in DPR.
